1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing and using sport.news (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What Sport.News is
Sport.News is a sports news aggregator that collects public content from third-party journalistic sources, automatically categorizes it, and displays it in a feed. Links send users to the original sources for the full article.
3. User accounts
- An account is required to interact (like, bookmark, comment)
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure
- You can contact us anytime to delete your account
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms
4. User content (comments)
When you post a comment, you agree that:
- The content is legal, non-defamatory, and non-abusive
- You are not infringing on others' copyright
- You do not post spam, malicious links, or sexually explicit content
- You do not harass other users
We reserve the right to delete comments and block users who violate these rules, without prior notice.
5. Copyright
The titles, summaries, and thumbnails displayed on sport.news are based on public content. We strive to correctly attribute the source of each article and link to the original page. If you are a rights holder and consider that we incorrectly use your content, contact us at copyright@sport.news.
6. Publishers
Publishers using our API to push articles directly into the feed are subject to additional terms communicated at account registration. By using the API, the publisher guarantees they own the rights to the content pushed.
7. Availability
We strive to keep the Service available 24/7, but we do not offer an uptime guarantee. We may suspend the Service for maintenance without prior notice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, sport.news is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the last 12 months (zero, for free accounts).
9. Changes to the terms
We may modify these terms periodically. Substantial changes will be announced by email or by a banner in the app. Continued use of the Service after a change means acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute will be resolved amicably or, as a last resort, by the competent courts in Romania.
