Ødegaard urges Arsenal to 'step up' after cup exit

Arsenal were knocked out of the Carabao Cup in a major upset, losing to League One side Fleetwood Town on penalties. Mikel Arteta made nine changes to his starting lineup, and Arsenal fell behind to Aaron Loupalo-Bi's 21st-minute strike before Viktor Gyökeres equalized with his first goal of the season after captain Martin Ødegaard was introduced at half-time. Fleetwood goalkeeper Lynch made key saves in stoppage time to force a shootout, where Bruno Guimarães had his penalty saved before teenage defender Conor Haughey scored the winning spot-kick to send Fleetwood into the quarterfinals.
