10 greatest rugby brothers of all time ranked – Barrett trio miss out on top spot

Ruck.co.uk has ranked the 10 greatest sets of rugby brothers of all time, with the Barrett trio — Beauden, Scott, and Jordie Barrett — missing out on the top spot despite their remarkable All Blacks careers. The ranking was published on 11 October 2026, a day after New Zealand thrashed Australia 50-19, reuniting the three brothers. Other notable siblings featured in the list include the du Preez brothers of South Africa (Robert, Jean-Luc and Dan) at number 10, and Ireland's Best brothers (Rory and Simon) at number nine.
