Ultra-runner Sophie Woods has broken the record for completing the Via Alpina, running 2,000km across eight countries in just 29 days. The Via Alpina is considered one of the world's toughest endurance challenges. Woods' achievement makes her the fastest runner to have crossed the Alps via this route.
