2026 NBA Summer League: Lakers ride stout defense to win over Mavericks

Arthur Kaluma, an undrafted forward out of Texas, scored 34 points on 11-for-16 shooting including 6-for-10 from three-point range to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 91-70 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in 2026 NBA Summer League action on Saturday. The Lakers held a slim 47-44 halftime lead before a dominant defensive performance in the second half sealed the win. Dallas managed just 13 points in each of the third and fourth quarters as Los Angeles outscored them 44-26 in the second half.
