2027 Super Bowl headliner announced: Jay-Z picks himself to perform for Super Bowl LXI

Jay-Z has announced that he will headline the Super Bowl LXI halftime show in 2027, with the selection made by Roc Nation, the entertainment company he founded that holds the NFL's halftime show partnership. The announcement was framed as a 'public service announcement sponsored by Roc Nation,' suggesting Jay-Z effectively chose himself for the performance. This will mark a significant moment as Jay-Z takes the stage personally after years of his company curating other artists for the prestigious halftime slot.
