3M Open: Michael Kim falls one shot short of equalling PGA Tour 18-hole low score with stunning 59
Michael Kim shot a 12-under par 59 during the second round of the 3M Open on Friday, recording only the 16th sub-60 score in PGA Tour history. His flawless round featured consecutive birdies on holes three through seven and eight putts made from 10 or more feet, including a 24-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole. The score fell one shot short of equalling the all-time PGA Tour 18-hole low record, and bettered the 2026 season's previous best of 60, which had been shared by five players including Scottie Scheffler.
