Michael Kim shot a 12-under par 59 at the 3M Open in Minnesota on Friday, recording only the 16th sub-60 score in PGA Tour history and the lowest round on tour this year. The flawless round, which included five consecutive birdies between holes three and seven, moved Kim into the lead at the tournament. He fell one shot short of equalling Jim Furyk's all-time PGA Tour record of 58, set at the 2016 Travelers Championship.
