400 Met officers deployed for Millwall vs. West Ham

The London Metropolitan Police deployed 400 officers, including mounted units, police dog units, and live facial recognition technology, for the Championship match between Millwall and West Ham on Saturday. The so-called 'Dockers Derby' is the first meeting between the two clubs in 14 years, with authorities citing a long history of fan violence at such fixtures. The last notable clash in 2009 resulted in 13 arrests, three pitch invasions, a stabbing, and a £115,000 fine for West Ham.
