49ers-Rams season opener in Australia to be streamed on Netflix

The San Francisco 49ers will open the 2026 NFL season against the Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne, Australia, on Thursday, September 10 at 8:35 p.m. ET, marking the NFL's first-ever regular-season game played in Melbourne at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Netflix will stream the game nationally, while local markets will receive over-the-air TV coverage. Netflix has previously broadcast NFL games on Christmas Day in each of the last two years and will again host a double-header on Christmas this season.
