76ers predicted to swap Joel Embiid for $108M rim protector, lethal shooter to address major need

A proposed trade scenario suggests the Philadelphia 76ers could move franchise center Joel Embiid in exchange for a $108 million rim protector and a lethal shooter, aiming to address injury concerns at the center position. The deal would see Philadelphia prioritize durability over star power, replacing Embiid with a healthier alternative. No official trade has been confirmed, as this remains a prediction or hypothetical analysis from Sporting News.
