A global golf shakeup has the Asian Tour partnering with the PGA Tour, DP World Tour—and leaving behind LIV Golf

The Asian Tour is ending its partnership with LIV Golf and rejoining the DP World Tour and PGA Tour ecosystem in a formal new agreement. The deal, finalized during discussions at the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, includes at least two co-sanctioned events between the Asian Tour and DP World Tour for each of the 2027, 2028, and 2029 seasons. The partnership also creates promotion pathways for Asian Tour players through the DP World Tour, ultimately offering access to 10 PGA Tour cards per season.
