ACC joins other P4 conferences in banning pros

The ACC passed a resolution on Thursday banning professional athletes from returning to play college football, as well as men's and women's basketball, joining the other Power Four conferences in implementing such a ban. The move comes amid broader conference-level efforts to restrict pros from re-entering college sports, though a judge's order has separately prohibited the SEC from enforcing a similar ban on players. The ACC also announced it will expand enhanced replay usage in 2026.
