Adam Yates pulls out of Giro d’Italia after 30-rider crash on stage two

British cyclist Adam Yates, 33, has withdrawn from the Giro d'Italia after suffering a concussion in a crash involving approximately 30 riders during stage two on Saturday. The incident occurred on the rain-soaked 221km route from Burgas to Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria, leaving Yates with abrasions and a laceration to his left ear. Fellow riders Jay Vine and Marc Soler remained under medical observation following the same crash.
