A’ja Wilson extends her WNBA record with Player of the Month Award

A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces has been named the WNBA Western Conference Player of the Month for May 2026, earning the award for a record 14th time in her career. She surpassed retired Tina Charles's previous record when she won the award in August 2025. Wilson has helped lead the Aces to a 5-3 record through the first month of the 2026 season, averaging 24.8 points per game, while defending her record fourth MVP award.
