
Alabama softball hosts South Carolina before postseason | Tide takes Game 1
No. 3 Alabama softball (44-6, 16-5 SEC) opened its final regular-season series against No. 21 South Carolina (30-22, 7-14) with a 3-2 victory on Thursday, April 30, with Brooke Wells contributing a key leadoff double in the winning effort. Game 2 was rescheduled from 6 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, May 1, due to expected rain, and will air on SEC Network+ via ESPN+.
