Alabama softball defeated Florida 9-1 via run rule in the SEC Tournament semifinals in Lexington, Kentucky, advancing to their 10th SEC Tournament Championship game with a chance to claim their seventh title. Freshman pitcher Vic Moten earned her 19th win of the season, tossing five innings while allowing just three hits and one run with four strikeouts. The Crimson Tide's offense was led by Ambrey Taylor's solo home run and multi-RBI hits from Ana Roman, Marlie Giles, and others to build a commanding 4-0 lead early.
