Alabama softball vs LSU super regional enters delay due to weather

No. 1 overall seed Alabama (53-7) was hosting No. 16 seed LSU (40-18) in the NCAA Tuscaloosa Super Regional when Saturday's game was paused due to lightning within an 8-mile radius of the stadium. At the time of the delay, Alabama led 4-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning, with Alexis Pupillo's home run and Salen Hawkins' two-RBI single being key offensive contributions.
