Albon commits to Williams F1 team for 2027

Alex Albon has signed a one-year contract extension with Williams, committing him to the team for the 2027 Formula 1 season. The 29-year-old Thai-British driver, who joined Williams ahead of the 2022 campaign, will be entering his sixth consecutive season with the Grove-based outfit. Albon expressed confidence in the team's long-term rebuild despite a difficult recent period, while team principal James Vowles confirmed he was delighted with the agreement.
