Alex Bell exclusive on her switch from track to road: “I want to get to the Olympics again”

British athlete Alex Bell, 33, has spoken exclusively to Olympics.com about her transition from track to road running, revealing her goal of competing in the marathon at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Bell previously represented Great Britain at Tokyo 2020, finishing seventh in the 800m final with a personal best of 1:57.66. Since switching to road running at the start of last year, she has competed in 5k, 10k, and half-marathon events, with the full marathon and an Olympic berth as her ultimate ambitions.
