Alex Marquez leads Bezzecchi in British GP FP1

Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing) topped Free Practice 1 at the British MotoGP Grand Prix at Silverstone, setting a best time of 1:58.692. Marco Bezzecchi on the Aprilia was second, just 0.173 seconds behind, while Pedro Acosta completed the top three for KTM despite suffering a crash at Stowe corner with 20 minutes remaining. Championship leader Jorge Martin could only manage eighth, with Marc Marquez sixth and Ai Ogura seventh.
