Alex Milne breaks British 100km record for bronze medal in Spain

At the IAU 100km World Championships in Ames, A Coruña, Spain on September 20, American Charlie Lawrence won the men's title in 6:09:25, the seventh-fastest 100km performance of all time and inside the previous championship record. Great Britain's Alex Milne claimed individual bronze in 6:17:50, breaking Steve Way's British road record of 6:19:20 set in 2014, and also led the GB men's team to a silver medal. Courtney Olsen won the women's title, completing a USA double at the championships.
