Alexander Zverev battles past Flavio Cobolli for first Grand Slam title of career at Roland Garros
Alexander Zverev claimed his first Grand Slam title at the 2026 Roland Garros, defeating Flavio Cobolli 6-1, 4-6, 6-4, 6-7(5), 6-1 in the final on June 7. It was the German's fourth Grand Slam final appearance, having previously lost finals at the 2020 US Open, 2024 Roland Garros, and 2025 Australian Open. The victory completes a full set of tour-level titles for Zverev, who has now won at every level: ATP 250, 500, 1000, ATP Finals, Olympics, and Grand Slam.
