Alexander Zverev claimed his first Grand Slam title at the 2025 French Open on June 7, 2026, defeating first-time major finalist Flavio Cobolli 6-1, 4-6, 6-4, 6-7(5-7), 6-1 at Roland-Garros. It was Zverev's fourth Grand Slam final appearance, having previously lost finals at the US Open (to Dominic Thiem), along with two other slam final defeats.
