Cristóbal Alfaro scored two headers to lead Mexico to a 2-0 victory over the United States in the CONCACAF U-20 Championship final on Sunday, allowing Mexico to retain its title. Alfaro's second goal came in the 69th minute to seal the win. The U.S. was dealt a significant blow just before halftime when captain Chris Applewhite was shown a red card following a VAR review for a foul on Hugo Camberos, leaving the Americans with 10 men.
