Aljamain Sterling explains why he’s not ready to call Petr Yan the bantamweight GOAT just yet

Aljamain Sterling has stated he is not yet ready to consider Petr Yan the bantamweight GOAT in MMA. Yan defeated Merab Dvalishvili in the UFC bantamweight championship fight at UFC 333, held at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on October 24, 2026. Sterling, a former bantamweight champion himself, believes Yan still has more work to do before earning that distinction.
