All former Formula 1 drivers on the 2026 Le Mans 24 Hours grid
Fifteen former Formula 1 drivers will compete in the 2026 Le Mans 24 Hours this weekend, with most racing in the top-tier Hypercar class. Notable absences compared to 2025 include Jenson Button, who has retired from professional motorsport, and Mick Schumacher, who has moved to IndyCar with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. Among those competing is Kamui Kobayashi, making his 12th Le Mans appearance while serving as both driver and team principal at Toyota Racing, having won the race outright in 2021.
