Amanda Serrano to fight Lucrecia Manzur with knockout record on the line

Amanda Serrano, 37, will defend her unified WBA and WBO world featherweight titles against 27-year-old Lucrecia Manzur on 21 August at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California. Serrano is also chasing the all-time record for the most knockouts in women's boxing history, having equalled the mark of 32 set by Christy Martin with a second-round stoppage of Cheyenne Hanson in Texas in May. A knockout victory over Manzur would give Serrano sole ownership of the record.
