Amanda Staveley to buy stake in West Ham

Vanessa Gold, joint-chair of West Ham United, has agreed to sell her family's 25.1% stake in the club to a consortium led by former Newcastle co-owner Amanda Staveley, her husband Mehrdad Ghodoussi, and PCP Capital Partners. Gold inherited the role following the death of her father David Gold in 2023. Current shareholders will also be given the opportunity to buy out the Gold family as part of an ongoing process.
