Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is reportedly closing in on a deal to purchase a minority stake in Liverpool Football Club as part of a consortium. The group is seeking to acquire approximately 30 per cent of the club for around £1.35 billion, according to Daily Mail Sport, which reported on the serious negotiations three weeks prior. The investment deal is said to be nearing approval.
