American boxer Hannah Rapp, 26, dies after being hit by car while cycling

American boxer Hannah Rapp, 26, died on Saturday after being struck by a car while cycling in Brazos County, Texas. According to the Brazos County sheriff's office, a car passed her, suddenly stopped, and then reversed into her. Rapp, who turned professional in 2024 and held an 8-1-1 record, had most recently challenged for the WBC women's featherweight championship in June, losing to Tiara Brown in Orlando.
