Ampleforth Abbey: Cycling grand prix set to return to stunning Yorkshire grounds

The North Yorkshire Grand Prix cycling race is returning to Ampleforth Abbey on Sunday, August 16, 2026. Organised by British Cycling, the event features two circuits running through the Abbey grounds and across the Howardian Hills. Spectators are invited to watch the race live on a big screen in the Abbey grounds, with artist Garth Bayley also in attendance to capture the event on canvas.
