Former British tennis star Andy Murray, now aged 39 and retired from professional tennis since summer 2024, has observed a concerning trend among younger players who immediately check social media after matches to read reactions to their performance, describing the habit as 'not good.' Murray shared these observations during an appearance on Andy Roddick's podcast at the Laver Cup in London, drawing on experience gained during his coaching stints with Novak Djokovic and Jack Draper. Murray coached Djokovic for six months before the partnership ended in May 2025, and has since been working with British player Jack Draper on a limited, unofficial basis.
