‘Angry’ Carrick on the brink as Fernandes hits out at Manchester United tactics

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick is facing an uncertain future after a humiliating 4-1 Champions League defeat to Como on Wednesday night. Carrick apologised to fans following the loss, while club captain Bruno Fernandes publicly criticised a 'decision from the staff' not to press. Carrick's position may be discussed before Sunday's match against Bournemouth by director of football Jason Wilcox, CEO Omar Berrada, and co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
