Antonelli storms to pole position at Belgian GP

Kimi Antonelli, the 19-year-old Mercedes driver, claimed pole position for the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps, beating Max Verstappen by 0.317 seconds with Lando Norris qualifying third. World champion Norris will start 13th due to a 10-place grid penalty for exceeding his allocated engine parts. Antonelli, who leads the championship by 25 points over George Russell, heads into Sunday's 44-lap race as favourite despite not winning since the Monaco Grand Prix on June 7.
