Apple Makes Austrian Grand Prix Free for US Viewers
Apple TV, which holds a five-year US broadcasting deal for Formula 1 starting in 2026 after replacing ESPN, will make the entire Austrian Grand Prix weekend available free to US viewers with no subscription required. Coverage includes Friday practice sessions at 7:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. ET, Saturday qualifying at 10 a.m. ET, and Sunday's race at 9 a.m. ET. This follows earlier outreach efforts such as IMAX watch-alongs and the Canadian Grand Prix being made available on Netflix, though Apple has not yet released official viewing figures.
