ARA Australian Cycling Team named for 2026 UCI Para Cycling Track World Championships

Fourteen para cyclists and three pilots — 17 athletes in total — will represent the ARA Australian Cycling Team at the 2026 UCI Para Cycling Track World Championships, held in Apeldoorn, Netherlands from October 29 to November 1. This is the largest Australian team selected for this event since 2016, with several members returning from the 2025 squad that won 16 world titles, 25 medals, and six world records in Rio de Janeiro. The team includes returning athletes such as Jessica Gallagher, Emily Petricola, and Gordon Allan, alongside six additional experienced competitors including Amanda Reid and Alistair Donohoe.
