Argentina Eye Scotland with 34-man Roster to Open July

Argentina head coach Felipe Contepomi has named a 34-man roster for Los Pumas' opening match of 2026, a Nations Championship clash against Scotland in Córdoba on July 4. The squad includes five uncapped players, among them hooker Leonel Oviedo, who plays Super Rugby in Australia, and second-rower Luciano Asevedo. Argentina will play three home tests in July, also facing Wales in San Juan on July 11 and England in Santiago del Estero on July 18.
