Argentina's Barco joins Chelsea from Strasbourg

Chelsea have signed 22-year-old Argentina international Valentín Barco from Strasbourg on a seven-year deal. The left-back or midfielder made 58 appearances for Strasbourg, contributing three goals and 11 assists, and previously had stints at River Plate, Brighton, and Sevilla. Barco also featured briefly at the World Cup, where Argentina lost to Spain in extra time of the final.
