Armada softball's remarkable runs continues with wild quarterfinal win

Armada High School's softball team defeated Frankenmuth 11-4 in an MHSAA Division 2 state quarterfinal on Tuesday, June 9, at Skippers Softball Field in Marysville. The Tigers, now 35-8 overall, are playing in their first state quarterfinal since 2011 and will face Stevensville Lakeshore in the Division 2 semifinal on Thursday in East Lansing. The semifinal appearance will be the program's first since 2010 and only its third since 1979.
