Arsenal tell staff 60 jobs are to be cut... just days after manager Mikel Arteta was rewarded for Premier League title success with £20m a year contract

Arsenal Football Club has announced plans to cut 60 jobs, targeting off-field areas such as administrative and operational roles. The redundancies will not affect coaching or backroom staff for the men's or women's teams, nor the club's community operations or the Arsenal Foundation. The news comes shortly after manager Mikel Arteta was handed a new contract worth approximately £20 million per year following the club's Premier League title success.
