Asian Games 2026 golf: Rory McIlroy, Nelly Korda inspire Pranavi Urs to historic gold

India's Pranavi Urs won the women's individual gold medal in golf at the Asian Games 2026, held at Kasugai Country Club East Course on Saturday, winning by one shot. During the final round, she overcame a triple bogey on the third hole that wiped out her three-shot overnight lead, drawing inspiration from Rory McIlroy's recovery from a double bogey en route to winning the 2025 Masters. Urs also cited Nelly Korda as an inspiration during the dramatic comeback.
