Aston Villa seal loan signing of Alejandro Garnacho from Chelsea

Aston Villa have confirmed the season-long loan signing of Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho from Chelsea, with a conditional obligation to buy. Garnacho joined Chelsea last August from Manchester United for £40m but struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge, scoring eight goals in 43 appearances across all competitions. The deal follows Morgan Rogers' move in the opposite direction to Chelsea, and Villa are expected to pay a similar £40m fee if the purchase obligation is triggered.
