ATHLETICS - Coventry's Jake Minshull to race in 400m hurdles final at 2026 Commonwealth Games

Coventry athlete Jake Minshull has qualified for the men's 400m hurdles final at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, after finishing second in his heat with a time of 48.88 seconds, making him the third fastest qualifier overall. He will compete alongside England teammate Seamus Derbyshire in the final, scheduled for 9pm on Friday, July 31 at Scotstoun Stadium. Minshull, who represents Coventry Godiva Harriers, previously won bronze in the 4x400m mixed relay at the World Relays earlier this year.
