Athletics: Hydro Harrier breaks 40-minute barrier at Bridgwater event
Hydro Harrier Jim Shaun broke the 40-minute barrier at the Bridgwater Bolt 10k on Sunday, May 17, finishing in 39 minutes and 55 seconds to claim 14th place out of 350 runners. The day before, several Hydro Harriers club members also performed strongly at parkrun events across the country, including Ian Salter running 20:24 at Longrun Meadow in Taunton (17th out of 426), Andy White completing Crosby parkrun in 24:46, and Kev Barratt and Charles Mason posting times at Isle of Wight and Exmouth respectively.
