ATHLETICS: Walker beats Hodge in women’s 100, then collegiate records for Hodge (200), Oakley (400), Jallow (800) at NCAA Champs!

At the 2026 NCAA Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon, Jamaica's Shenese Walker (Florida State) won the women's 100m in 10.88, defeating Adaejah Hodge's 10.93. Hodge then set a collegiate record and world lead of 21.68 in the 200m, breaking the previous mark of 21.90 set by Abby Steiner in 2022. The final day of the championships also saw collegiate records fall in the 400m (Oakley) and 800m (Jallow).
