Audi reveals details reliability woes after disastrous F1 Miami GP
Audi Racing Director Allan McNish has outlined the multiple reliability failures the German manufacturer suffered during the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, including a fire, a disqualification for illegal intake air pressure affecting Gabriel Bortoleto, a gearbox change, a brake fire, and an engine-overheating retirement before the race even began. Both Audi drivers were unable to make any meaningful progress throughout the entire weekend. McNish acknowledged that Audi is still learning about its inaugural F1 engine but noted that other power unit manufacturers are also experiencing reliability issues.
