Audrey Werro fends off Femke Broeders-Bol’s charge in Diamond League final 800m

Swiss runner Audrey Werro won the Diamond League 800m final in Brussels, narrowly holding off Dutch athlete Femke Broeders-Bol (formerly Femke Bol) in the closing stages. Werro maintained her lead through the home straight despite a strong late charge from Broeders-Bol. The race took place at the Diamond League final event held in Brussels.
