AUSSIE RACER BRADY KURTZ CLAIMS SPEEDWAY GP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD WITH MANCHESTER WIN

Australian rider Brady Kurtz won the ATPI FIM Speedway GP of Great Britain – Manchester R4 on Saturday, defeating Michael Jepsen Jensen and Bartosz Zmarzlik in the final to claim the Speedway GP World Championship lead. The victory moved Kurtz to 65 points, three ahead of Polish star Zmarzlik (62), while fellow Australian Jack Holder remains third with 55 points. Kurtz, who captains the Belle Vue Aces, took the series leader's Golden Race Jacket from Zmarzlik after finishing second to compatriot Max Fricke in the previous night's round three.
