Australia collapse on final day as Simon Harmer spins South Africa to series win

South Africa defeated Australia by 176 runs in the third Test at Newlands on Saturday, clinching the series 2-1 and regaining the top spot in Test rankings. Spinner Simon Harmer produced a career-best figures of six for 16, dismantling the Australian batting lineup after they lost Matt Renshaw and Marnus Labuschagne in the opening over. Despite a 90-ball rearguard from Pat Cummins and an unbeaten 33 from Nathan Lyon, Australia's hopes of salvaging a draw ended when Harmer bowled Josh Hazlewood just before tea.
